Key environmental variables correlated with high content of mitragynine A recent study by Leksungnoen and colleagues (2022) investigating mitragynine content variations in Thailand's naturally occurring Mitragyna speciosa population identified a positive correlation between high light intensity and high soil volumetric water content (VW) with increased mitragynine levels. These findings align favorably with the cultivation practices employed at our Taweemon Botanicals Kratom Farm.Specifically, our farm is situated in Bangkok, Thailand, within the central region. Here, kratom trees benefit from ample sunlight due to their spacious planting and strategic branch pruning to promote lateral growth. Additionally, our lowland location, featuring a surrounding canal, ensures consistently high soil volumetric water content (VW).
